Advanced front air bags* with seat belt-use, passenger-weight and driver's seat-position sensors help protect you in case of a front-end collision

Side-impact air curtains help protect front and outboard rear passengers in the event of a side-impact collision

Since relying on one is never enough, we equipped the Mazda6 with three standard active safety systems.

Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)* modulates the engine and brakes when over- or understeer is detected, helping to keep you on your intended path while cornering

Traction Control System (TCS) detects wheelspin, then reduces engine power to help improve traction in slippery conditions

Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) applies the brakes hundreds of times per second, preventing wheel lockup so you can maintain steering control in emergency braking situations

*Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is an electronic system to help the driver maintain control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices.
