Life is unexpected. At least you’ll be ready for it thanks to five advanced safety systems standard on every Mazda5.
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)* modulates the throttle and brakes when it detects control slipping in tight turns to help keep the vehicle stable during aggressive maneuvers
- Standard Traction Control System (TCS) detects when wheels lose their grip on the road and then adjusts power to the drive wheels to provide more sure-footed acceleration in difficult driving conditions
- The Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) monitors tire pressure and alerts you before tires become critically low
- Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) monitors vehicle weight distribution to determine how much force to apply to the front and rear brakes
- Brake Assist applies maximum braking pressure in an emergency situation
- Second-row LATCH child-safety-seat anchors and second- and third-row upper tether, child-safety-seat anchors
* Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is an electronic system to help the driver maintain control under adverse conditions. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Factors including speed, road conditions and driver steering input can all affect whether DSC will be effective in preventing loss of control. Please see your Owner’s Manual for further details.
